As an optometrist registered with Centre for Eye Health (CFEH), it is our pleasure to invite you to SCOPE* interactive lectures on Tuesday 31st August at the Centre.

This complimentary SCOPE* event will provide you with an opportunity to:

  • Hear real case examples of how advanced ocular imaging can assist you and your patients
  • Develop your knowledge of glaucoma diagnosis and management
  • Gain 4 CPD points (approval pending)
  • Tour the Centre's facilities

PROGRAM

Glaucoma Update: Benchtop to Practice
Professor Michael Kalloniatis, Centre Director

Summary: Glaucoma co-management with ophthalmology is now within the scope of practice of optometry.  The mechanism of action of anti-glaucoma medications, IOP reduction strategies and neuroprotection will be discussed.  Ocular imaging as it applies to the optic nerve assessment in glaucoma and other related conditions will also be explored.

 

How the Centre has helped my patients
Anthony Chapman-Davies

Summary: Using a grand rounds format, Anthony will discuss how advanced ocular imaging performed at the Centre has enable him to better understand and manage his patients.
